How is my text turned into HTML?
Blank lines split paragraphs into <p> tags. If heading detection is on, lines starting with # become h1 through h6. Everything is escaped first so brackets and ampersands display correctly.
What does the line-break option do?
With it on, single newlines inside a paragraph become <br> tags. With it off, lines inside one paragraph are joined with a space.
Can I paste the code into my website?
Yes. Switch to the Code tab, copy the generated HTML, and paste it into your page or CMS. It is clean, standards-compliant markup.
