Which SQL dialects does the formatter support?
It handles standard SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE statements shared by MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and SQLite. It is a tokenizer, not a full parser, so exotic dialect-specific syntax may format imperfectly rather than perfectly.
Does formatting change my query logic?
No. The formatter only changes whitespace, line breaks and keyword casing. Strings, comments and quoted identifiers are preserved byte for byte, so the query runs exactly the same after formatting.
What does minify mode do?
Minify strips comments and all unnecessary whitespace, producing the shortest valid query. It is handy for pasting SQL into logs, chat messages or places with character limits.
