Why did I get no text from my PDF?
Some PDFs are scans, which are images of text rather than real text. This tool reads selectable text only; scanned pages need OCR (optical character recognition) first.
Can I extract text from a password-protected PDF?
No. Locked PDFs cannot be opened here. Remove the password first if you know it.
