Where do the tags come from?
The tool fetches the page HTML through the free, keyless api.allorigins.win proxy and parses the meta tags in your browser. No account or API key is needed.
Why are tags missing on a JavaScript-heavy site?
This validator reads the raw HTML. Sites that inject Open Graph tags with JavaScript after load will show missing tags here. Social crawlers render pages differently, so use this as a first check, not the final word.
Is the social card preview exact?
No, it is a simplified mock using your title, description and image. Each network (Facebook, X, LinkedIn) renders cards with its own styling and image cropping.
