Frequently asked questions
What is neumorphism?
Neumorphism, or soft UI, is a design style that makes interface elements look like they are extruded from the background using two soft shadows: one dark and one light. It works best on low-contrast backgrounds built from a single base color.
How do I use the generated CSS?
Adjust the controls until the preview looks right, then press Copy CSS and paste the background, box-shadow and border-radius rules into your stylesheet. The shadow colors are computed from your base color, so the whole element stays in one palette.
Which shape should I pick?
Flat is a subtle raised card. Convex looks like a raised button, concave sinks inward, and Pressed uses inset shadows, which is ideal for active or selected states.
