Uses the standard ITU Morse table. Separate letters with spaces and words with / when decoding. Unknown sequences decode as a placeholder character.
Frequently asked questions
What Morse standard does this use?
The ITU international Morse code table: A to Z, 0 to 9, and common punctuation. Letters are separated by spaces and words by a forward slash.
Why do some characters show as a placeholder?
When decoding, any sequence that is not in the Morse table becomes a placeholder character rather than a guess. Check the spacing around it, one missing space can merge two letters.
Does the audio follow real Morse timing?
Yes: a dash is three times a dot, the gap between letters equals three dots, and the gap between words equals seven dots, matching standard timing.
