Frequently asked questions
What is leetspeak?
A playful writing style from early internet culture that replaces letters with lookalike numbers and symbols, like E with 3 and A with 4.
What do the intensity levels change?
Light swaps only the most common letters (a, e, l, o, t). Medium adds more substitutions. Extreme replaces nearly every letter with symbols.
Is leetspeak still readable?
Light and medium usually are. Extreme can be genuinely hard to read, which is part of the joke.
