Paste a page's HTML, or try fetching its URL directly. You get the real heading outline plus every structural issue found.
Frequently asked questions
Why is more than one H1 a problem?
One H1 per page tells search engines what the page is about. Multiple H1s split that signal and usually mean the template, not the author, chose the headings.
What is a skipped heading level?
Headings should nest in order: H1, then H2, then H3. Jumping from H1 straight to H3 breaks the document outline for screen readers and crawlers.
Why does the URL fetch fail for my site?
The URL fetch only works when the site allows cross-origin reads. Most production sites do not, so paste mode (View Source, copy all) is the reliable path and analyzes exactly what you paste.
