Does it count the end date?
By default no: it counts the days strictly between the two dates, like the old version of this tool. Tick the inclusive checkbox to count both the start and end day.
How are months calculated?
With exact calendar math, not by dividing by 30. Full years and full months are counted on the calendar, and the leftover days are shown separately, so month lengths and leap years are handled correctly.
Can I use it to count down to a future date?
Yes. Put today (or any start date) first and your target date second, and the tool shows exactly how many days, weeks and months remain.
