Frequently asked questions
What do the 5 cron fields mean?
From left to right: minute (0-59), hour (0-23), day of month (1-31), month (1-12), day of week (0-6, where 0 is Sunday). So "0 9 * * 1-5" means 9:00 AM, Monday to Friday.
What happens when both day-of-month and day-of-week are set?
Standard cron runs when EITHER matches. For example "0 9 1 * 1" runs at 9 AM on the 1st of the month AND every Monday. This tool follows that rule when computing the next run times.
Are the next run times in my timezone?
Yes. The next 5 runs are computed in your browser’s local timezone. If your server runs in a different timezone (for example UTC), double check the schedule against that timezone before deploying.
