Text is encoded as UTF-8 bytes, 8 bits per byte, separated by spaces. Conversion happens live as you type, and everything stays in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
How does text to binary conversion work?
Each character is turned into its UTF-8 byte values, and each byte is written as 8 binary digits. So the letter H becomes 01001000. The tool converts live as you type.
Why does my binary show an error?
Binary must contain only 0s and 1s and must come in complete 8-bit groups. If the bit count is not a multiple of 8, one or more bits are missing.
Does it support emoji and other languages?
Yes. The converter uses real UTF-8 encoding, so accented letters, Arabic, Urdu, Chinese, and emoji all convert correctly and back again.
