What are DNS records?
DNS records are the internet's address book entries for a domain. A records point to web servers, MX records route email, and TXT records verify ownership and email security.
Why is my MX lookup empty?
If a domain has no MX records, email to it will not be delivered. Every domain that receives email needs at least one MX record pointing to a mail server.
What does TTL mean?
Time To Live: how long resolvers cache the record, in seconds. Lower TTLs make DNS changes propagate faster; higher TTLs reduce lookup load.
